Dominique Freymond

is partner of mas and independent board member. He is Vice-Chairman of Swiss Post, Chairman of SolvAxis and member of other boards or advisory boards. Since 1997 he has been board member of different companies, among others Allianz (Suisse) and mainly SMEs. Dominique Freymond is vice-president of the Swiss Institute for Board members (SIVG) and moderator at the Academie des administrateurs (acad).

He focuses on strategy and corporate governance mainly in the financial services and utilities markets. He has a broad knowledge on information technologies, especially related to business process outsourcing for banks.

Prior to mas he was CEO of TKS-Teknosoft, exclusive partner of Tata Consultancy Services, providing offshore and on-site IT services and a banking solution in Europe. At Unisys he held various positions, such as Vice-President Field Operations, Central Europe, Chairman and CEO of Unisys Switzerland, and Customer Services manager for Switzerland and Austria. Before that, he had an assignment as Chancellor of the Canton of Vaud, secretary of the Government, chief of staff and spokesman. At IBM Europe and Switzerland he held various positions in sales, marketing, market analysis, competitive intelligence, large account management and general management, especially in the mainframe area.
 
He has a degree from the University of Lausanne in biology and physics and deepened his management and corporate governance knowledge at Wharton and Harvard. He also studied psychology. Dominique is a Swiss citizen and speaks French, German and English.
