Mergers & Acquisitions
Only a few M&A transactions succeed in fulfilling investor’s expectations. The percentage of transactions that would have made a lot of sense and that did not take place is not even known. Through empirical study and practical learning from numerous transactions we have identified the main reasons for these poor outcomes. The fact is, a pure technical m&a transaction team is not enough. Our approach addresses systematically complementary but decisive factors, like the lack of industry knowledge and social skills and the associated failure to generate a win-win concept upstream and poor post-merger integration downstream.
Performance improvement
Very often, underperformance has to do with poor management or inadequate approaches towards existing problems. In our experience there are substantially more cases of poor operational management than true strategic deadlocks. In a co-execution mode, our team works together with operational management to fix the identified problems within a given time-frame. The combination of our services and skills is designed to protect and to leverage investments made in the area of our expertise. mas offers to private and institutional investors an ideal alternative to classic, financially managed funds. We assess companies on behalf of investors and develop concepts to improve their operational performance. Then, we help to put in place the proposed measures. As we believe in our performance, we are also ready to be remunerated to a large extent in shares. Where appropriate, we will even take a position in our client’s enterprise.
