Dr. Urs Isenegger


is founding Partner of BILL ISENEGGER ACKERMANN AG, an internationally oriented and versatile medium-size law firm based in Zurich. Its special strength is commercial law and it advises clients from Switzerland and abroad. His Preferred areas of practice are Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Contract Law, Arbitration, Intellectual Property Law, Aviation Law and Technology Transfer. Urs holds an LL.B from the University of Basle (1980) and a Dr. iur. («Copyright Issues Concerning Retransmission of Broadcast Programs») (1983). He was admitted to the BAR in 1985, Notary Exam of the Canton of Solothurn. From 1988 to 1989 he was foreign Associate with the law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles. Urs is member of the Swiss Bar Association, Zurich Bar Association, International Bar Association, AIPPI, LES Licensing Executives Society, Associazione Internazionale Giuristi di Lingua Italiana. Urs is a Swiss citizen and speaks German, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
